Terms & Conditions

These terms cover your use of the Almeo website and the general basis on which we take on engineering work. Signed project agreements take precedence over anything here.

In short: this website is informational, nothing on it is a binding offer, and the specifics of any project — scope, price, timeline, ownership — are set in the written agreement we sign with you.

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing almeo.in or submitting an enquiry through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Almeo Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a software engineering studio providing web, app, AI, DevOps, and cloud engineering services.

2. Use of this website

You may browse the site and contact us for legitimate business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or automated form submissions
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with the site's availability or security
  • Scrape or reproduce site content for commercial use without our permission
  • Use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law

3. No offer or guarantee

The descriptions, case studies, metrics, and product demonstrations on this site are provided for information. They describe past or representative work and are not a promise of any particular outcome, timeline, or result for your project. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer or a professional recommendation for your specific situation.

4. Consultation requests

Submitting the consultation form starts a conversation; it does not create a contract or reserve a slot. We will confirm availability by email. We may decline an enquiry at our discretion.

5. Engagements and project agreements

Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work that we both accept. That document defines the scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule, timeline, acceptance process, confidentiality, and IP ownership for that engagement. Where it conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins.

Client responsibilities

Projects depend on timely input. You are responsible for providing accurate requirements, necessary access to systems and accounts, content and assets, and prompt feedback and approvals. Delays in these may shift the timeline and cost.

Third-party services

Projects often depend on third-party platforms, APIs, and hosting providers. Their fees, availability, and terms are outside our control, and licence or subscription costs for those services are yours unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6. Fees and payment

Fees, currency, milestones, and payment terms are set in the applicable project agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, invoices are payable within the stated period, taxes are additional where applicable, and we may pause work on overdue accounts after notice. Deposits are applied to the work performed.

Payments can be made by bank transfer or online through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, using cards, UPI, net banking, or wallets. Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay under its own terms; we do not see or store your full card or bank details. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy. How and when services are delivered is described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Our site and materials

The Almeo name, logo, site design, copy, and product materials are owned by Almeo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing here grants you a licence to use them.

Project deliverables

Ownership of custom deliverables transfers as set out in the project agreement, typically on full payment. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and general know-how, and of any product we license to you rather than build for you. Where we license a product, you receive a non-exclusive right to use it on the terms agreed.

Your materials

You keep ownership of the content, data, and brand assets you give us, and you confirm you have the right to provide them. You grant us the licence needed to use them to perform the work.

8. Confidentiality

Each side agrees to protect the other's non-public information shared during an engagement and to use it only for the purpose of the work. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

9. Publicity

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may name you as a client and describe the work at a high level in our portfolio. We will not publish confidential details, code, or data without your consent.

10. Warranties and disclaimers

We perform services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with professional standards. Beyond that, this website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Almeo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total aggregate liability in connection with an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Almeo against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or content and materials you provided to us that infringe a third party's rights.

13. Third-party links

This site links to external websites, including client and partner sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

14. Privacy

Information you send through this site is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access to the site at any time if it is being misused or if we need to protect it. Termination of a project engagement is handled under that engagement's agreement; work completed up to the termination date remains payable.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the revision date shown below. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless a signed project agreement specifies otherwise. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.

18. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with any signed project agreement, are the entire agreement between us on this subject.

19. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to connect@almeo.in. Our full contact details, including our registered address, are on our Contact page.
