Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Almeo collects when you use our website or work with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

In short: we only collect what you choose to send us through our contact and consultation forms. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

1. Who we are

Almeo Pvt Ltd ("Almeo", "we", "us", "our") is a software engineering studio providing web, app, AI, DevOps, and cloud engineering services. This policy applies to almeo.in and any pages served from it.

For any privacy question, contact us at connect@almeo.in.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our consultation or contact form, we collect the details you enter:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide one
  • Your preferred consultation slot
  • Any project notes or requirements you write in the message field

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard technical request logs, which can include IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp. These are used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect

We do not collect or store payment card, UPI, or bank account details. Online payments are handled by our payment gateway, Razorpay, which collects those details directly. We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as government ID numbers, health information, or biometric data through our forms.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and schedule a consultation
  • To prepare a proposal or scope for the work you asked about
  • To deliver and support services you engage us for
  • To process payments, issue invoices and receipts, and handle refunds
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax, and contractual purposes
  • To protect the site against abuse, spam, and security incidents

We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email to people who only submitted an enquiry.

4. Service providers we share data with

We keep the number of third parties involved deliberately small. The ones that can process form data are:

  • Web3Forms — processes our website form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
  • Razorpay — processes online payments. When you pay, Razorpay collects your payment details and shares the payment status, amount, and your name, email, and phone number with us. See the Razorpay privacy policy.
  • Railway — hosts this website and its request logs. See the Railway privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site. Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers.
  • Our email provider — receives and stores the enquiry emails sent to us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. Client project data

When we are engaged on a project, we may be given access to systems, databases, or content that contain data belonging to you or your customers. We handle that data only to perform the agreed work, under the terms of our engagement agreement, and we do not use it for any other purpose. Access is removed at the end of the engagement on request.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not use third-party tracking pixels. Any storage used is limited to what the page needs to function during your visit.

7. How long we keep information

Enquiry and consultation records are retained for as long as needed to respond and, where a project follows, for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by tax and accounting rules. Server logs are kept for a short operational window. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to our inbox and infrastructure is restricted to the people who need it, and credentials are not shared outside the team. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you send us.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Withdraw consent where our use relies on it
  • Object to or ask us to restrict a particular use
  • Raise a complaint with your data protection authority

To exercise any of these, email connect@almeo.in. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process and store data on servers outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards and contractual commitments for handling personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the tools we use change. The revision date below always reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

13. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints about this policy can be sent to connect@almeo.in.
